Anthony Santaniello, seen here in a scene wherein his character Tom must seductively eat pudding to woo Helen (Faith VonMinden), plays the lead role in USF’s own Fat Pig directed by 20-year-old senior Ryan Bernier.
In this scene, Tom is confronted by Carter (right, played by Bijan Barrera) for his attraction to a woman of size.
Tom is seen here with Genie (Savannah Lowe), his ex-girlfriend who has revenge on her mind when she learns about Tom’s new relationship.
Director Ryan Bernier brought in all new furniture to the theatre department and even had the floors painted to properly dress Tom’s office, where most of the show takes place.
Tom is shocked to learn that Genie already knows more about his relationship than he has divulged.
In one of Lowe’s favorite moments in the show, Genie makes a triumphant exit as she slaps Tom and shoves Carter on to the couch.
